Betty, Anne and Ruth Browning and the Bonseys tried to do some toboganning but the snow was too thin.

Anne's 17th birthday. I drove Miss E. Browning to catch 9.17 am train..
Friday, 11 January
I met Pippa at Sudbury station at 6.41 pm on her return from Switzerland. She gave us graphic accounts of her ski-jumping and luging.
Sunday, 13 January
The girls announced their intention of going to the Evening Service! They did not go!
