Edwardstone House
Pippa, Betty and Wilma went to see Point to Point races at Bromley in Essex and got very wet. Wilma won 4/6 on the “tote”.
Thursday, 5 May
Mr Wade sent a lad over in the morning with “Lively”, a blood mare for the girls to ride; also a big bay horse blind in one eye for us to take too if we liked. I took them both and went for a ride with Wilma. I rode the bay.

Mr Riddeshall brought up Pippa’s new car, a Morris Cowley 2-seater, and they drove to Bury to get a licence and registration number. The car looks lovely and Pippa is delighted.
Sunday, 8 April!
The Horsefields came out before tea time. Richard?, Moira, 4 boys, 1 girl and two dogs! Tea in the hall. Games on the lawn. A fine evening.
