Week of 6 February 1928

Monday, 6 February
Edwardstone House
Pippa and Betty went for a long bike ride. Stowmarket, Needham Market, etc.
Wednesday, 8 February
I went to London today. Drove to Colchester and caught the 9.17 train. Went to A and N Stores - Haircut - Lunched at 15 Pelham Crescent with Gran and Mabel. At about 3 pm attended a meeting of the Committee of the Historical Records of the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers . Lt Gen Sir Trevor Clark in the chair. A long meeting lasting till 5.35 pm.
Thursday, 9 February.
Polly and Betty went up to town. I drove them to Sudbury to catch the train to London. They went shopping and brought back among other things : three Victoria plum trees, well trained  to fill vacant  places on garden walls.
Saturday, 11 February
Heard from Polly who had to take Betty to a homeopathic lady doctor in London who advised a month of daily massage for Betty.
