Edwardstone House
Pippa met Reg and Aline at Colchester. They had come by train from Elmhurst Farm as their car (an Alvis) had gone awry. Very heavy storm last night.
Tuesday, 22 November
Polly and Reg Bruce went for a walk to Kersey. Pippa drove the car out and joined them, and Polly drove the car back, leaving the other two to walk home.
Wednesday, 23 November
Polly drove Reg and Aline into Colchester station to catch the 10.36 train.
Revd and Mrs Brown to tea. Pippa and Betty went for a long walk and took their lunch with them.
Thursday, 24 November
Polly lunched with Evelyn Cobbold at Sproughton and we both went to tea with Col and Mrs Kirkpatrick at Sudbury. Col and Mrs Reynolds were there too.
