Edwardstone House
I met Anne and Wilma at Sudbury station at 7.10 pm. Their train was late owing to fog. The fog was very thick and the new orange-coloured rubber covers to the headlamps were very useful. I found it best to do without the side lights.
Sunday, 23 December
Polly, Wilma and I to Colchester Church in the morning. Betty and Anne cut holy and ivy for decorating the church tomorrow.
Hugh Porter and friend left at 10.30 am.
